What are the Good Gear To Sell Fast in Path Of Exile 2 Market?
In a surprising move, I recently decided to sell all of my high-end gear in Path of Exile 2. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and it certainly raised a lot of questions among my followers. In this article, I’ll explain why I chose to defund my account, what I did with the proceeds, and how this strategy can be beneficial, especially in the context of the game’s league-based system. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to Path of Exile 2, this insight might help you make more informed decisions about your in-game assets.
The League-Based System and Early Access
One of the key factors behind my decision is Path of Exile 2’s league-based system. When a new league launches, the economy resets, and players must start fresh, grinding from level one. This means that the gear and currency you accumulate in the current league will become obsolete once the next league begins. This is especially true for the Early Access league, which is essentially a legacy league that won’t include new players once the game officially launches.
Given this, holding onto high-value items in the current league doesn’t make much sense. The Early Access league will persist, but it won’t be as relevant once the game is fully released. This understanding led me to liquidate my godlike gear and convert it into divines, which can be more useful in the long run. If you’re considering selling PoE 2 currency, this might be a good time to do so, especially as the league winds down.
Defunding My Account: The Process
So, what exactly did I do to defund my account? I sold all of my high-value items, including my bow, quiver, and Stead Vest. My bow, which was worth many divines, was sold for around 20-30 divines. I downgraded to a cheaper bow that still meets my needs. Similarly, my quiver was sold for over 100 divines, and I replaced it with a much cheaper alternative. My Ingenuity belt, which had 79% evasion, was sold for 20-plus divines, and I bought a replacement for just three divines.
Even after downgrading my gear, I’m still able to one-shot most monsters in Tier 15, 16, and 18 maps. Magic and rare monsters might take a bit more time, but overall, the performance drop isn’t significant. My DPS went from 50,000 to 30,000, but considering the value I extracted, this is a trade-off I’m willing to make. If you’re looking for best PoE 2 items for sale, this strategy might help you maximize your returns before the league ends.
Currency Generation and Market Monitoring
My primary source of currency generation doesn’t come from boss farming or high-tier maps. Instead, it comes from strategies like breaches, rituals, and city deals, which don’t require top-tier gear. Additionally, I focus on the currency exchange, which only requires gold and can be more profitable than traditional farming methods.
I also employ a strategy called Regularly Monitoring Trading (RMT), which involves keeping a close eye on market trends and arbitrage opportunities. By monitoring assets like essences and other valuable items, I can make informed decisions about when to buy and sell. This approach allows me to maximize my profits without relying on high-end gear. If you’re interested in learning more about this strategy, I have detailed spreadsheets and guides available on my channel.
Future Plans and Community Engagement
Looking ahead, I plan to continue creating content that helps players navigate the complexities of Path of Exile 2. This includes more crafting guides, market analysis, and tips for optimizing your gameplay. I’m also considering giving away excess currency to friends, family, and acquaintances who want to enjoy the game. After all, the more people who join and enjoy Path of Exile 2, the better.
